Baptism is an important step of obedience commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20.

It’s an act where we publicly demonstrate our commitment to follow Jesus and our identification with His death, burial and resurrection.

At Christ Church, we believe that baptism is by immersion (Mark 1:5, John 3:23) and is only for those who have put their trust in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also believe that the New Testament teaches a connection between baptism and church membership (Acts 2:41).

Please complete the Baptism Intent Form. You will be contacted with information about the next baptism gathering. We look forward to walking with you through this process in the days ahead.

Please note this form is for adults. Parents of youth who wish to be baptized should contact the church office for instructions.

Those interested in being baptized should also take some time to listen to the following sermon by Pastor Kevin Galloway about baptism, called Advancing in the Sacraments.
